Skills Commentary

I worked on many skills sadly not in Unity because it was not available on my computers but things like teamwork and design I worked hard on. I came up with most of the ideas for the game things like mechanics and ideas for the future of our rouge-like game. I improved in my art learning a small bit of color theory and

POST-PRODUCTION – REFLECTION

21st Century Skills

Ways of Thinking (Creativity, Innovation, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving)

I had to do a lot of thinking over a document our team had created. Since unity wasn’t working one of the biggest contributions I had made to our group was making decisions regarding the game. it required a lot of collaboration with my group but we ended up with a pretty solid game idea.

Ways of Working (Communication & Collaboration)

Our group had lots of collaboration in real life and through online means. We stayed connected while being productive. In class, we were able to work well while helping each other out or asking for things that were needed.

Tools for Working (Info & Media Literacy)

Youtube, Unity, Github, Discord, Trello, Level up! (book).

Ways of Living in the World (Life & Career)

I feel like this month more than anything helped my decision-making. Even now decision-making is a big part of who I am going to become and pushing forward and choosing what is best is a big part of that. I also have learned to code even if I haven’t been coding and that will help me with my career path in the future.

What I Learned and Problems I Solved

I learned a lot regarding game design. Where I am now able to make decisions that will be good for the player’s mood and have them play longer. Reading Level up! so many things impacted our game and how we are making it. Sadly I was not able to solve the problem of coding but that should happen sooner rather than later.
